The first one is kinda like how you can't picture Allah in Islam so he has many different names to describe him instead

I really like the idea of a god that when seen you see what you expect them to look like or a loved one and it’s really the gods way of cloaking their real identity as a previously befallen one I dunnoooo

Ooh, 4 is close to one of mine. Actual metals are super rare. What most people harvest are magicite, aurumcite, and titanicite. These come from a mountain range that is the fallen corpse of an ancient god that may or may not actually be dead. Magicite is crystallized anima (I use anima in place of mana.) and comes from the blood of the god. Aurumcite is a golden metal and the marrow of the god and highly conductive for anima and magic. Titanicite is the dense bone of the god, nearly heat proof and heavily resistant to anima and magic.

Fun fact, in the Elder Scrolls, ebony is the solidified blood of Lorkhan, stemming mostly from Red Mountain where his heart was buried

In mine the places where fallen angels struck the earth life originated, sort of like a charnel primordial soup, it’s also where magic originates and physics sort of stops working,

i love the self mummification and the idea of like it acting as a reincarnation device, meditation as a form of lifelong self-preservation, almost like a caterpillar building its own chrysalis. and maybe, when the time comes for you to be reborn again, you simply emerge from it different yet the same, the parts of you that were meant to be preserved remain, all the while your physical appearance has changed, you may not have any more of the previous memories in a way where you can recollect them but they are ingrained in you, instinctively. What will you learn in *this* life, what will remain with you in the next one? Will you remember to meditate?
