As someone who was sa'd in high school and actually realized what happened when I was 27, this is called a fawn response. We try to make sense of it because our brains cannot comprehened it. Yes, we can talk to people and even the perps about it after it happened. Doesn't take away from what happened.

as a victim, she did that to avoid conflict and it just didn’t hit her brain yet. when i had my situation happen, i thought it was completely normal and consensual and i even talked to him after like it’s what i wanted. i didn’t realize it wasn’t good til i actually sat down and ran everything that happened in my head. it’s so hard when it all hits your head and you realize “oh my gosh. that was not okay at all.” and that’s when you accept it as bad. your trauma response is to not think badly ab the situation and reason with it. to think you WANTED IT to be happen like that. if you’ve never been a victim, you really just don’t get it.
