My friend’s young daughter needed a pad. I walked the streets of Nashville asking for one. A few offered a tampon and I told them it was a young girl. About 5 women rallied to help me find a pad. Victory with no shame!

I was once at a metro station and two young girls, the older sister was maybe 14yo and the little one was maybe 8yo. And she was asking for a feminine product. I had nothing that day, and think about her often. Now, I always carry one just in case.

I also carry pads with me for the girlies in need. Also parents, there are programs in most schools that need donations for products, tamps, pads, wipes, make up wipes, deodorant, and hair products. Check your school to see if they have FCCLA. It’s for middle and HS and it’s not what it use to be. ❤️❤️❤️

I had a hysterectomy at 34 and I’m now 57. I threw those things away 23 years ago and never looked back. 😂 it was due to traumatic birth injury so I was like you know I went “through it” this is my reward. I have no daughters so I guess if I did I would have carried them.

Absolutely. I can’t even remember how many times throughout my life I’ve had a girl or woman scared or embarrassed ask me if I had anything with me. I’ve even left some in bathrooms just in case.

I go to home to see my parents once a year or so. Somehow I always unexpectedly start my period my mom had a hysterectomy 35 ish years ago. She always has my back and there is a box ready to go.
