@mystique.awakening: Getting what you asked for isn’t always the hard part. Sometimes it’s not abandoning yourself once it arrives. You finally make more money…and immediately feel pressure to make it again. You finally have free time…and somehow fill every empty hour with something productive. You finally set the boundary…and spend the next three days wondering if you were too harsh. You finally start being seen…and suddenly want to disappear. You finally receive the love, opportunity, support or expansion you’ve been asking for…and instead of relaxing into it, some part of you starts looking for the exit. Embodiment gives your body experiences of the reality you’re creating. Capacity determines how much of that reality you can hold without immediately contracting, overfunctioning, sabotaging, shutting down or returning to what feels familiar. Nature does this beautifully. A riverbank can only hold so much water before it overflows. The answer isn’t to shame the river for being too powerful or tell the bank to “think abundant thoughts.” The container has to become capable of holding a greater volume. We have containers too. Our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies all have limits based on what they’ve experienced, what they’ve healed, what currently feels safe and what they’re accustomed to carrying. This is one reason Reiki and energy healing still have a place even as we move beyond the Awareness stage. Sometimes I’m not helping you understand another pattern. I’m supporting your system as it releases what has become excessive, replenishes what has become depleted and returns to enough balance that you have ROOM to practice something new. The goal is to eventually have enough awareness, balance and capacity that you can meet your own life with self trust. And THAT is where I think the conversation around healing gets really interesting.
