@woodlarkblog: turning vintage fabric doilies into ghosts 👻 my daughter picked out couple small doilies to make some new ghosts this year to go along with our larger ones from last halloween. I make a homemade glue/starch mixture that can be washed out easily if you’d like to reuse the doilies. How to: Make the glue mixture (1:2 ratio of cornstarch and water) by heating on low in a small pot until it just starts to thicken. Place something round like a ball on top of your jar. Cover it with wrap if you think the fabric may stick. Soak the doily in the glue mixture and wring out. Drape over the jar. Let dry then add eyes.
