@paigegloyn: I know I’m probably going to get comments from this one, so let me say this first… This isn’t me telling other parents what they should do. I completely understand why people share their children online, and I’m not judging anyone who chooses to. For us, keeping Arthur’s face private just feels like the right choice. I LOVE sharing our life. I love sharing our adventures, our silly little moments and the reality of motherhood. But I don’t need to share his face to do that. Especially as technology and AI continue to develop, I’m becoming more conscious of how easily images can be saved, shared or potentially misused in ways we never intended. I know I can’t protect him from every risk in the world, but if there’s something small I can do to reduce one unnecessary risk, why wouldn’t I? Maybe one day he’ll want to share his face online, and when he’s old enough to understand what that means, that choice will be his. Until then, I’ll happily keep him faceless. Because he’s not content. He’s my little boy. 🤍 #faceless #privacy #childprotection #keepingchildrensafe #motherhood

Absolutely agree! I cannot get over how cute my son is but AI is terrifying so it’s not a risk I’m willing to take!

One million percent agree with this! I also say it’s up to you as a parent, however make that decision once educated on the matter. My opinion is I would rather not offer my child on a plate to the wrong audience 🤦🏼♀️
