Pay employees for the marketing they’re doing. If you’d pay an influencer, model or content creator to feature in your advertising, why is it suddenly free when it’s one of your employees? Let’s be real: employees are increasingly being expected to be the marketer, content creator, salesperson, customer service rep and everything else all for the same salary. Using your employees in your marketing isn’t a problem. Expecting them to do extra work for free is. Where do we draw the line?
