If that happened, Andrew would’ve been Captain America instead of Sam

Is tasm 2 ended up being good andrew is a great Spider-Man he even fights like a spider and instead of brute force he plans his tactics like setting up a web net so he can feel the vibration of the webs to alert him of the lizard and tbh for me he's the most comic accurate one he's not overly muscular or a little bit short he's just the right build as the comics Spider-Man but for me he's the best Spider-Man but he will be perfect for ultimate peter from the earth the maker made he looks alot like ultimate peter

Because it WAS supposed to happen, for the first Avengers movie they wanted to put the tasm oscorp in the nyc skyline but they didn’t have enough time and scrapped it.

He was supposed to be in the MCU and in Civil War he would've been on Captain America's side

Fun fact Marvel actually wanted Andrew Garfiled to be theire Spider-Man as they were making The Avengers back in 2010-11 Sony was making Tasm 1 too and Marvel asked for Sony to give them premission to put the Oscorp tower in in the background as the Battle of New York was happening but Sony said No because they thought Spider-Man was enough for them to make profit

The Tex-Mex Nerd :
to be fair, Marvel got merchandising rights back from Sony to Spider-Man a year prior to the release of the first TASM. it's possible that Marvel wanted to give us a small crossover with their toy marketing before ultimately bringing Spider-Man to the MCU

My headcannon is that tasm 1 took place before avengers 2012 and tasm 2 took place before age of ultron

andrew should have been the mcu peter parker, and the later phases ciuld have set up miles instead of a Teenage peter, let miles and peter be the mentor student duo instead of Tony and peter

That was the original idea, but then It didn’t work out and that’s when Tom came into the picture.
