The problem is is that if my house is on fire your house can catch fire regardless of whether or not I've paid for that or not

This was how fire stations originally ran in the United States. This is also the whole reason why we have public fire departments. this current admin just wants to take everybody back instead of creating progress

The scariest part is that this information/FAFO is directionally opposed to what the GOP is saying. They’re preaching we should be afraid of the “stranger”. Never mind we’re in threat of losing our rural medical system, our fire stations, our police, our libraries, etc. etc.

Here in Florida, we have a bill proposed on our ballot to significantly raise the Homestead Property Tax Exemption from $50,000 off the tax value of the home, to $150,000 the first year and $250,000 the second year. The Trumpers say local and county governments have plenty of money, the commissioners use millions for their “pet projects” and that law enforcement get paid too much and have too many benefits. They are so ignorant, when their loved one has a massive heart attack and they need EMS, they’ll blame the Democrats instead of their own party that is in total country in Florida.
