Ok, here’s the update. So this guy and his wife bought the property 4 yrs ago. Had them over once for dinner. Nice couple. He did something with forensic financing if I recall. Ran into him a few times over the yrs and by that time his wife and him had divorced. Well apparently he must’ve gotten behind on payments and the bank took back the property in July. Water company came out and put a lock on the water meter. I’m told he cut the lock off and rerouted the water with his own piping. Did the same with electricity as well. All while squatting at his place now owned by the bank. There was an incident when a subpoena was being served and then he mailed out some letters to the bank, the water and gas companies. These included threats and each letter contained a hangman’s noose. To add to this, there’s a part in this story about a sovereign citizen group he was a part of that published like the bank manager’s contacts or something. So anyhow, with the threats the two utility companies weren’t going in without the place being cleared. First a Sheriff’s plane ✈️flew over. Other neighboring properties were notified to steer clear. Then they rolled in in force and called him out by PA system. I got wind that a large police presence had come up the road. So nosey me called my 4 legged company and we walked down to our cabin where directly across is the south pasture the cattle graze at occasionally. Its NW corner is right across from said property’s SE corner and as I walked through the pasture I could see the cherries and berries of a squad SUV. Once there I could see the geared up deputies mulling around the property. A drone flew overhead and at one point came over to investigate Kiya and I. I assume the coast was clear because about 7 unmarked trucks rolled in. Later, after the humvee and the squad left in the video, another squad and the fire marshal drove past as well as the power company. A livestock trailer was brought in to load up his longhorns and pigs. My dad, equally as nosey, told me later he walked right up to the front door and offered some cubes from our barn to lure the longhorns. So that’s the 411.
