@destinytheemom: And only 10 minutes away from our house?! Perfect. I’m so glad we finally checked out the Red Barn Farm!! I’ve heard amazing things about them and when I found out they had a harvest festival, I knew we had to check it out. I’ve only gone to fall festivals that are overpriced and overcrowded but this was so opposite of that. Kids tickets are $20 each but include a bag of feed for animals a ticket you can redeem for popcorn as well! Adults are $12! There were a bunch of families but no long lines for activities or food! The kids had a blast playing games and playing on the playground. I had a blast hanging out with the animals! We will definitely be back next weekend!

the woman that owns this place in incredible. I was diagnosed with cancer while sharing a room at overlake with her mother. it wad a really hard day obviously and then they switched my room. she came to find me in my new room and brought me treats and gave me hugs and said shed been thinking about me. it was so sweet of her.
