Cute has always been an insult to me. Dont use the same word you’d use on a baby or a puppy on me. Maybe it’s because I’m midsize and that was repulsive to my classmates so the least insulting thing people could call me was cute, but I digress

Cute for me has always been used in a way to infantilise me. Someone can go round and call other women pretty and get to me and say cute. Like why change it just for me? Some people don’t have any bad meaning when they say it but I just get triggered because being cute means not being taken seriously or being made fun of for me.
