Doesn't matter, Navy Federal messed up my credit so bad that I'll never be able to buy a house. 😒 Don't take credit cards that you aren't going to pay off before going on an under-way. Navy Fed likes to roll your entire balance into a personal loan so they can cancel the auto-pay and demand payment in full if you're out of the country when the renewal period arrives. Even though they told me when I asked before we left that, I couldn't renew it a week early, but they could hold my new offer until my command returned in about a month. I returned to my account in shambles and late payments on my credit report because the payments I'd set up to cover our under-way period were going to an account that no longer existed. 🙃
