@gobeyondthecart: It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966) Charlie Brown can't believe it when he actually gets invited to Violet's Halloween party, even if it was probably by mistake. He throws together a ghost costume but gets a little carried away cutting the eyeholes, ending up with a sheet full of holes. Then the whole gang heads out trick-or-treating, and while everyone else compares their haul of candy and treats, poor Charlie Brown keeps finding the same thing at every house: a rock. Meanwhile, Snoopy suits up as the World War I Flying Ace, climbs aboard his doghouse "Sopwith Camel," and battles the Red Baron in the skies before crash-landing behind enemy lines and wandering into the party. At Violet's, the girls use Charlie Brown's bald ghost head as a model to draw a jack-o'-lantern face, and Lucy's turn at bobbing for apples ends with a soggy surprise courtesy of Snoopy. It's classic Peanuts: a little sad, a lot funny, and Charlie Brown somehow still showing up with hope. 🎃👻🪨 #CharlieBrown #GreatPumpkin #Peanuts #Snoopy #Halloween
