yes, I don't go to church anymore, I have been hurt by the church to many times. I read my Bible daily, and pray throughout the day. I listen to gospel music a lot, and try to mingle with people in my circle

I am a cradle Catholic. I learned at a pretty young age that organized religion wasn’t for me. Too many rules, too much politics, too much talk about who wasn’t leaving enough in the plate on Sunday, too much judgement and add in a little bit of hypocrisy in the mix, all courteous of an intimidating priest straight from Ireland. Church did not feel welcoming to me. I did not feel God’s presence there. The message that we were all sinners doomed for hell no matter what did not resonate. Because of all this I have spent most of my life not participating in any form of organized religion. I consider myself spiritual. I believe in God and Jesus. I see Him and feel Him everywhere - the sun in a beautiful blue sky, the sound of the ocean, fireflies in the dark night. I’ve slowly learned more and more on my own. Watching The Chosen started me on the path. Listening to you, Big Dan, has really piqued my curiosity. I can’t wait to read the Book of Enoch, the Naghamadi texts, the Bible.

I've never been in a church like that.....but I've seen plenty of it from out here looking in. It's why I've never much been a part of a church since I was a youngin. 😁

Intergenerational conflicts is about man made dogmas not the messages of love taught by Jesus. Dogma's are political in nature and " church " becomes institutionalized barriers to a personal relationship with God.
