@gamesdotgg: Marvel is building a direct competitor to Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves, and the first look has leaked. Project Comet is a free-to-play mobile ARPG built around Marvel heroes and villains, described by testers as a Genshin-style gacha with real-time combat crossed with Marvel Ultimate Alliance's squad-based missions. Gameplay features full manual control with on-screen stick and ability buttons, multiple skills and an ultimate per hero, and missions built for four-player co-op that can be replayed on higher difficulties for better rewards. The gacha tier list already has S-rank heroes including Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Captain America, and Doctor Octopus, with A-rank characters including Spider-Man, Invisible Woman, Elektra, and War Machine. Environments shown so far include neon city blocks and fantasy-style strongholds. The game is confirmed for iOS, Android, and PC with cross-play, with console versions not yet mentioned. Closed test invites went out in early June, and the footage has only just surfaced publicly now.
