Nerykhmer 🇰🇭 :

DevOps isn’t about learning one tool. It’s about understanding how the tools connect to create a complete workflow — from writing code and building applications to deploying infrastructure, monitoring production systems and automating everything in between. ⚙️☁️ This carousel breaks down 10 of the most important DevOps technologies and shows what each one actually does. 👇 🐳 1. Docker — Containerisation Package applications and their dependencies into portable containers that behave consistently across development, testing and production. ☸️ 2. Kubernetes — Container Orchestration Run containerised applications at scale with automated scheduling, scaling, service discovery, load balancing and self-healing. 🔄 3. GitHub Actions — CI/CD Automation Automate builds, testing, security checks and deployments directly from your GitHub repositories using workflows defined as code. 🟣 4. Terraform — Infrastructure as Code Define and provision infrastructure using code instead of manually clicking through cloud consoles. Infrastructure becomes versionable, repeatable and easier to automate. 📊 5. Grafana — Visualisation & Observability Turn metrics, logs and traces into dashboards that help teams understand what their applications and infrastructure are doing in real time. 🐙 6. Argo CD — GitOps for Kubernetes Use Git as the source of truth for Kubernetes deployments. Argo CD detects configuration drift and keeps your applications aligned with the desired state stored in Git. 🔥 7. Prometheus — Metrics & Monitoring Collect time-series metrics from applications and infrastructure, query them with PromQL and trigger alerts when something goes wrong. ☁️ 8. AWS & Azure — Cloud Platforms Provide the compute, storage, networking, databases, security and managed services that modern applications are built and deployed on. 🛠️ 9. Jenkins — CI/CD Automation Server One of the most established automation tools in DevOps. Jenkins can orchestrate complex build, test and deployment pipelines through its huge plugin ecosystem. ⚙️ 10. Ansible — Configuration & Automation Automate server configuration, software installation, patching and infrastructure tasks using simple YAML playbooks — without requiring agents on managed systems. But the important part isn’t memorising 10 logos. It’s understanding how they can work together. 🧠 A real DevOps workflow might look something like: 💻 Developer pushes code to GitHub ⬇️ 🔄 GitHub Actions or Jenkins runs CI/CD ⬇️ 🐳 Docker builds the application image ⬇️ 🟣 Terraform provisions the infrastructure ⬇️ ☸️ Kubernetes runs the containers ⬇️ 🐙 Argo CD keeps deployments synced with Git ⬇️ 🔥 Prometheus collects metrics ⬇️ 📊 Grafana visualises system health ⬇️ ⚙️ Ansible automates configuration tasks ⬇️ ☁️ Everything runs across platforms such as AWS or Azure That’s the bigger picture. DevOps engineers aren’t simply “tool users.” They understand how code, infrastructure, automation, cloud, deployment and observability work together as one system. 🚀 If you’re learning DevOps, don’t try to master everything at once. A strong learning path would be: 👉 Git fundamentals 👉 Linux + networking 👉 Docker 👉 CI/CD 👉 Cloud fundamentals 👉 Terraform 👉 Kubernetes 👉 Monitoring & observability 👉 Configuration automation 👉 GitOps Build small projects as you go. Deploy an application. Containerise it. Automate the pipeline. Provision the infrastructure. Monitor it. Then break something and troubleshoot it. 🔧 That practical experience is where DevOps knowledge really starts to stick. 💾 Save this carousel as your DevOps tools reference. Which tool are you learning right now — Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Azure or something else? 👇 #DevOps #Docker #Kubernetes #Terraform #AWS
