My impala used to do this and I would bang on the dash and it would stop lmfaooo it’s your door actuator it won’t do anything but your AC might go out in the future

my impala would do this when i locked my car. unlocked my car. turned my car on. drove my car. turned my air off. i ended up unplugging the actuator and leaving it 🤣🤣🤣

Blend door actuator. Both my Pontiac Vibes did it. Cheap part, fairly easy fix. Just requires some wierd bending.

Basically your AC has something in it similar to the flap in your throat that regulates breathing/eating, it moves around depending on the air settings. Whenever it starts to go out it makes that SCARY ASS NOISE. Sounds like your car is ripping apart but honestly not a big deal at all. Your AC system is about to give you a ton of problems tho
