TUESDAY: Welcome the Adelanto Pilgrimage Tuesday, October 6 | 12:00 PM Los Angeles Federal Building 300 N. Los Angeles Street Los Angeles, CA 90012 For 8 days, clergy and community members have been walking 96 miles through extreme heat, from Adelanto to the Metropolitan Detention Center, to shine a light on those imprisoned and killed by ICE. Join us, along with the Godmothers of the Disappeared, to welcome the pilgrims as they arrive. WEDNESDAY: Interfaith Prayer Vigil at Adelanto October 7 | 10:00–11:00 AM Adelanto Detention Center 10250 Rancho Road Adelanto, CA 92301 In collaboration with the Sisters of St. Joseph and CHIRLA, we will gather in prayer, song, and testimony as we stand in solidarity with families impacted by detention, deportation, and family separation. We’ll also take time to remember and honor those who have passed away at Adelanto. This will be a time to come together, lift up the voices and experiences of impacted families, and remind those inside Adelanto that they are not alone.
