Pigs go thru phases like people - he will need to be spayed-neutered, he will have several sets of teeth and his hooves need to be trimmed - when they are teeny it’s easier- when they get big you need a good piggy “hoof trimmer” - they grow for 5 years to their final size. They need a low sugar-low acid diet. Romaine lettuce, piggie pellets and a healthy diet so obesity isn’t an issue later. You can see our two piggies on my page - the pink thumbnail shows their size from 7weeks to 4yrs. Their housing needs change as they get bigger. They are so smart and very emotional creatures.

Hold him often so vet visits are easier as well as touching his hoofs a lot. He will need trimmings and the sooner he is used to his feet being touched the better. Also start now getting him used to stepping up on a scale. Watch his weight carefully as pigs will grow as large as you feed them. He is feral so he should be 75 to 100 pounds when fully grown.

I don’t think you can say he was feral anymore. I mean, he rolls over for belly stretches and you have named him. He’s no longer a feral pig. He’s a house pig or a farm pig farm house pig I don’t know, but he’s not far.😂💜
