@katherinesalom: Welcome back to the ✨Home Build Diaries✨ where I’m sharing all the behind the scenes of building our custom home! 🏠 SO much has happened since the last update! We officially have a roof, brick, siding, electrical, AC, a fireplace, some doors AND our porch ceilings and cedar wrapped beams are in! 🤗🙌 We also FINALLY picked our @sherwinwilliams exterior paint color after what feels like 700 different samples. 😂🎨 Painting should start any day now! And now for the crazy part… I’m leaving the country for TWO WEEKS and by the time I get home, we should have drywall AND a painted house! 😭 I have a feeling the next update is going to be a BIG one! 👀🏠 Builder: @AGM Design Solutions #CustomHomeBuild #HoustonHomeBuild #BuildingOurDreamHome #TexasHomeBuild #NewConstructionHome @sherwinwilliams

Definitely above the fireplace.👍 The house is looking great. You and Cody are doing a terrific job making changes on the fly. I’m betting your contractor isn’t to happy though.😂

Definitely above the fireplace! its the focal point of the room. if you offset it to the side, your eye will still be drawn to the fireplace. In the higher end homes, they always do it. I doubt I was a factor, but said to put tons of outlets and finish that upstairs area 😁. you are just going to use a split unit for that, right? not a whole other central unit?

Well, if you want the opinion about the t v most people put em above the fireplace. Nowadays, that would look good like that
