William Sowders :
Lanterns is a really good show, but it's an awful Green Lantern show.

This show is perfect for people who don’t know or care about anything green lanterns. It’s a decent else world but dang it really pains me this is the version of John and Hal we get on screen.

Be careful man they’re gonna say you don’t understand “good” writing and that you only want “fan service” this show isn’t what I want from green lantern

almost no reason that they couldn’t have swapped out rushville with an another planet btw. doing that alone i feel like would have improved so much

The only thing I disagree with post finale is that Hal is dead for good. I think they're setting up for Hal to return as Paralax likely in season 3

Everyone saying “you just want cgi fights” is funny cuz the comics had both spectacle and amazing stories told without needing to sacrifice either of them and without needing to be pretentious grounded bullshit. The comics are way better btw😭🙏

Man of steel wouldn’t be a masterpiece even if it was our first time seeing Superman so that’s a terrible comparison. MOS has many flaws outside of being a terrible adaptation. Lanterns on the other hand actually has good writing
