All the Danbury public school kids got the day off and a free pass to go on “fair day” every year. I worked in the Dutch village fudge shop that last season. 😁

I remember the helicopter rides and a cheap carny loop coaster that would leave you hung upside down for 20-30 seconds. Stuff would fall out of people’s pockets
