You are unfortunately correct! Absolutely nothing brings you back to the life you once had. I dont really have words to describe the feeling all i can say is that its crushing. Sure life goes on but in a completely uncomfortable way. Dont know if that makes any sense but i haven’t recovered and its been 9 years. I dont anticipate my life ever feeling the same

I feel the same way...I watched my mom die of an overdose on Christmas 2016...I tried everything to save her...n I grieve her constantly...I understand her more now n God I wish I had this understanding while she was alive [Pray]

I totally relate. I lost mumma on Nov 6, 2023. I grieve her every moment of everyday and will until I die and am reunited with her.

Being a motherless daughter has to the saddest thing I have ever experienced. That experience will never end because where there is great love there is great loss. Lost mine to a train accident at 21. I hate trains. I hate rail road crossings, sings about trains, but mostly I hate that I understand so much about her now and I can’t tell her how sorry “I get it momma.” And oh what I wouldn’t give to hear her voice say my name one more time. Hugs from one motherless daughter to another. 🫶🏻 I can’t wait to see her!
