@shelbyrobinss: If your goal is to build a specific muscle, going heavier doesn’t automatically mean that muscle is getting more stimulus. Yes, lifting more weight generally means you’re getting stronger at that movement. But if increasing the load causes other muscles to take over, your range of motion to shorten, or your form to change just so you can move the weight, the muscle you’re actually trying to grow may not be experiencing more tension. You may be stronger overall without necessarily creating a better hypertrophy stimulus for that specific muscle. #teamtransform
Is this the same with losing PR? If you are not able to lift as much as you were like a month ago.

That’s true, because I’ve seen women lifting heavy weights, but their glutes 🍑 aren't big at all even though they do have big thighs… and I think is bc of that
