I just adopted a baby girl from the shelter who was an owner surrender and it never said in her paperwork that she was deaf but once I got her home, I realize she was and it doesn’t matter. She’s a beautiful little girl, and I will keep her until her last breath.

I no exaggeration moved from NJ to New Orleans cuz I could not find a place to live with my pitbull in NJ. Fit everything I could in an suv. All three of us were cramped on way here, but every time I looked in rear view mirror she had a big smile on her face even though I know she was physically uncomfortable. She had that smile because she knew no matter what she is never getting left again. If you take on that responsibility of adopting an animal you don’t give them up or leave them behind. That is YOUR kid. I loved my girl and I miss her more than anything. She was sooo happy here. She could finally make friends. I’d have dogs go after her in NJ and I’d get the dirty looks cuz of her breed. I would have done anything for her. She had 4 owners by the age of 2 1/2 because people are disgusting. She was the sweetest dog. I got lucky with her. She wouldn’t even eat food without permission. It was not her fault, but people don’t wanna have to actually do what they need to when owning an animal.
