@usafirst88: Mark Kelly Calls Out Hegseth Over Military Leadership Changes During a CBS interview on October 4, Sen. Mark Kelly criticized Pete Hegseth’s decision to reduce the number of U.S. generals and admirals by 20%. Kelly pointed to seven officers who were not promoted from one-star to two-star, saying five were either Black or women, and argued that the pattern was concerning. The Department of War pushed back, saying the personnel changes and forced retirements are “colorblind, gender-neutral and merit-based.” #MarkKelly #PeteHegseth #Military #Pentagon #Politics
