So the appointment went well and this neurologist ruled out the trigeminal and occipital. He told me it’s the 7th cranial nerve that’s causing problems along with migraines. The problems with my chest he could not address so I’ve got an appointment made with my pcp to find someone to handle that. I still don’t understand how how 5 doctors have told me it was trigeminal and occipital but the 7th cranial nerve is what’s the cause. I can’t remember the exact name of the neuralgia it is called but it’s a form of neuralgia. He had problems finding meds to try me on. My hiv meds wipe out a whole class of nerve meds. He told me if it were occipital that the nerve blockers would have worked and they didn’t. As for the trigeminal I don’t have enough face pain to have that but the deep inner ear pain is why they more than likely leaned towards trigeminal and occipital. I’m gonna continue to see this neurologist, he was very good at sitting and trying to find me some relief and did a great job explaining what these other neurologists got wrong and why. I hope he’s right but there’s a downside to it all. If it were previous concussions that helped lead to this there’s nothing they can do about that. I can only try the meds and one of the meds I’m not to thrilled about, it can cause withdrawals and I’ve gotta keep some low dosages of the meds incase I don’t think they are working and want to get off of them I’ve gotta titrate myself down where I don’t have the withdrawals. He tried putting me back on cymbalta and I told him no, I’ve taking that drug for a period of almost 10 years all together and I won’t ever take it again. I’ve taken it since I been dealing with this stuff too and it didn’t help with pain while I was on it and it’s also a drug that I don’t think is supposed to be taken the way they had me taking it over them years I did take it. So I took the car service and luckily the driver was my driver for the whole trip. It was kinda stressful though, ole dude didn’t have a drivers license was talking about he had a warrant and it was a bit stressful but he was a cool dude had great conversations on the way there and back. I got to go eat at Trill Burger finally and let me tell you if you’re ever in Houston look that place up, one of the best burgers and I’m just gonna say it the best French fries I’ve ever had. The burger was definitely a top 5 burger, I’ve had a better burger though a couple that were better, I’m telling you right now it may be the best burger you’ve ever had. The other places that had better burgers have been closed for years but there was a place in Carthage that had the best burger and I was fortunate enough to eat at prince burgers when I was a kid and I remember that place because that’s the numero uno burger on my list. Healthcamp in Waco and Charlie Allen’s burgers would be my top 5, that’s a old school Charlie Allen’s burger, when he had all of his places. Trill Burger is in that mix of the top 5 and I will give it the number 3 spot. If you go just get it how it comes it’s fantastic. So I’m all alone this weekend, lucked out and everyone left. I was afraid I was gonna have to keep the cat but they took it thank goodness. Now I have to clean that room and I’m not happy about that but once this flea spray gets delivered I’m saturating that room. I was stressing about that the other day and I’m so glad they took the cat. That room is infested with fleas, I put glue traps down last night and had my feet covered with fleas. Hopefully the stuff will be delivered by Tuesday they are supposed to come back Wednesday. I really don’t want that cat coming back, or they can let it be an outside cat, I’m not really sure. I know I shouldn’t be having to deal with the fleas but like I am. Anyways there’s my update, I’m not currently shooting anything either. I’m probably not gonna shoot again for a few days. I’m in need of this break and gonna make the most of it. I hope y’all have a great weekend and I will be back soon
