most people theorizing that Kaeya was gonna be the one with the gold eye thing behind his eye patch back in the day just for Dainsleif to be the one with it

The best thing about Dain is how broody and mysterious he is all the time, the light colours and removal of his eyepatch just feels wrong 😭

The golden eye with the eyepatch gone reminds me of the old Kaeya theories. The ones where they theorized his eyepatch eye is cursed and gold. Hoyo went ahead and made that design canon in fucking Dainsleif instead. I’m just… What about Kaeya? I love them both but come on!

I don’t understand what’s genshin’s obsession with removing parts of a character’s design that makes that character so recognizable and loved. His eyepatch is like- one of the most defining traits of dainsleif?😭

The eye change could be because the curse has been lifted ••? I wanna see how they introduce it though, especially with how old and important he is CC
