@nbcsandiego: The City of San Marcos ceremonially broke ground on the city’s fifth fire station. It’s the latest multimillion dollar investment by the city to make it safer. State Assemblywoman Dr. Darshana Patel also helped secure $1.2 million in state funding to buy the San Marcos Fire Department a new engine. The new fire station should go into service by mid-2028.
