@mummyandmeeatallergyfree: Did you know scones were this easy to make? They are so easy that I remember the exact recipe and method from my home ec class back in high school! 3 cups raising flour 80g cubed cold dairy free butter 1 cup of milk of choice (we use oat) Rub the butter into the flour using finger tips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Make a well and pour 1 cup of water into the middle. With a knife, cut through the mix, continuing to bring the mix together until a dough forms. Tip it out onto a floured board and flour those hands too! Bring the dough together by kneading a couple of times (do not overdo it!!! Just until the dough fully comes together). Roll out and cut circular shapes. Place on a lined baking tray and glaze with extra dairy free milk. Bake for 15ish mins at 180 degrees Celcius until risen and golden on top. Enjoy warm with dairy free butter, jam and cream if you have it! I wrap my cooled scones inside a tea towel then place into an air tight container for a day or two and freeze whatever I know we won’t eat in that time.My kids love these in their lunch box with butter and honey. Happy baking! Bec x #scones #dairyfreebaking
