So just to recap, in the Green Lantern show we: don’t get to see what the Guardians look like, don’t get to see any alien Green Lanterns, don’t get to see constructs used in battle, BARELY get to see constructs at all, don’t get to see what the Manhunters look like, don’t get to see a proper Green Lantern uniform (only an old worn down one), don’t get to see Oa, BARELY get to see other planets at all, and don’t get any reference to the emotional spectrum and other Lantern Corp… BUT WAIT! THERES MOOOOORE! We’re gonna portray the Guardians as morally bankrupt and the Green Lantern Corps as an organization of corrupt space cops stripping the Green Lantern Corps of its one and only purpose for existing, AND we’re gonna bastardize the oath and make John Stewart an unofficial Green Lantern operating unsanctioned while the Corps does nothing about it, AND as a cherry on top we’re going to reveal that Hal Jordan died for literally no reason during a cop’s emotional breakdown… alright bro ig.

John in this show, is power hungry. His excuse of “solving Hal’s murder” is fake. This is proven because he does nothing to his murder. And even told Guy he “died a hero”. Hiding the truth and everything. Only reason he “cared” to find out was because of Hal’s ghost. His oath is selfish as fuck too. Don’t even get me started on the middle aged white woman killing her “lover” who happens to be Space ICE. All to protect a genocidal illegal alien teenager. What did DC mean by this?
