@piecesofmebylyddi: Holding back the tears… my hips didn’t need these homemade goodies, but my heart definitely did. 🥹🧁💛 I’ve been carrying a lot lately, like so many others trying to get through each day. I keep holding on to my faith that everything will turn out A-Okay—but I’ll be the first to admit I have my worries and doubts, too. And somehow, good ol’ Mr. Rush just seems to know. Today he came into the scrapyard with that wonderful ear-to-ear smile and a bag of homemade goodies for me. But the sweetest gift was the one that came with them… one of the BEST hugs the universe has to offer. 🫂💛 This dear gentleman, at 89 years old, is out here checking on me and worrying about how I’m doing. Bless his beautiful heart. Thank you, Mr. Rush, for the treats, the hug, and for making me feel cared for when I needed it so much. Sometimes a little kindness gives us enough strength to keep going.
