With my pots it’s the opposite, sometimes I’ll feel absolutely fine and then I’ll eat something and just feel like utter shit.

You’re supposed to eat every 2-4 hours but if I eat my mast cells in my stomach flare and I get GI issues. There’s NO WINNING ISTG

This happens to me too!!! I thought I had hypoglycemia for the longest time bc my dad has it and I have pretty textbook symptoms but every time I’ve tested my glucose levels they’ve been completely normal even when I was about to pass out from symptoms. I still have no idea what the hell it is I know it’s POTS related but I’m so confused 😭

I fixed this by eating every 2-3 hours! It’s because of the blood flow

Do you monitor your blood glucose to see if there is a correlation?

This has been happening to me horribly lately, but I’m fat so no doctor is capable of actually hearing me say that. Somehow they all magically hear “I love eating so much, om nom nom, feed me.” I’m realistically looking at probably 10 years before I find a doctor that will listen, and idk if I have it in me to fight brofessionals that long. 😮💨

This is how I gained hella weight and hate it... If I don't eat I get debilitating symptoms even tho I ate 2-4hrs ago. It seems to happen later at afternoon to later at night.

I actually just told my cardiologist about this and how this "yoyo" happens faster if the food eaten was carb heavy and now she wants me to do a continuous glucose monitor but because shes cardio she cant order it so I have to convince my pcp 😭

Maybe the salt intake, depending on what you’re eating, also helps

Cromylyn and a cgm helped tremendously for me with this. My dietitian also worked wonders (and most are covered for free under insurances!)
