Actually we do have biological imperatives around mating behaviors that exist today! However they’re far more complex than this. They were far more complex when we were cavemen too. And they definitely don’t align with modern colloquial interpretations of what’s “natural” (everyone was polyamorous and a lot more bisexual). And we do have things kind of similar to pheromones. A lot of women’s perfume for example contains synthetic androgens. They used to contain real Abyssinian cat musk but yk animal rights. Corporations did this because studies show that women do have a preference for these scents. The reason we wouldn’t consider them pheromones per se is because humans don’t have the specific bulb for pheromones and we can discriminate against them. In other animals pheromones trigger instinctual responses. In us it just creates biases because we’ve naturally evolved to be self aware and suppress instincts. All this to say people who think that they’re attracted to women strictly because of “biology” are still wrong. Because our biology and mating behaviors evolutionarily speaking don’t operate like that.

what makes the behavior irrational other than you just saying so? is there a standard of which we ought to behave? is there an Objective end goal we as humans ought to reach? if so, how do you know? know do you are correct other than you just feel like it? this whole argument rest on a load of presuppositions that arent justified. plus, have you considered the theistic worldview that isnt grounded in bioessentialist arguments? what is your response to someone who believes that our intersection with the opposite sex is intended by God and not the result of materials processes alone? this argument is so lame bro.
