Gotta remember the padres played the cubs in the WC and their pitching is horrendous. I think rated worst or close to it in the whole MLB. Not saying that’s why they mashed but something to consider.

The brewers made a couple bad mistakes in game 2, yet still squeaked out a win, that’s a huge blow for the padres cuz idk if they make the same errors in games 3 or 4 as they made in game 2

A lot of those reasons for the Padres are also undercut by the Brewers as well. The Brewers all season were as good on the road as SD was at home. Their offense all season was more efficient. Pitching was more reliable all year
