No one from the court whatever accept payment the way you paid. I’m so sorry you were scammed. And I sergeant from the police force would never call and tell you this. The Bail bondsman might.

I’ve heard this happening to a lot of people so I’m prepared that this ever happens to me. I have a really good friend who’s a bonds woman and family and the two surrounding counties. They’d be the first people I’d be calling cause I would do the same exact thing you did.

A paralegal I was dealing with told me that bondsman will NEVER call you. Scammers look and see who’s booked in jail and then use Whitepages to look up relatives and prey upon the fact that most people don’t know how the legal system works. I was beyond grateful the paralegal warned me because sure enough a scammer called that afternoon wanting 2k to bond that person out. Scammers are beyond evil
