i was complaining about how itchy i was to my step mom and she told me about it. i was almost too late, my daughter was born not breathing. so happy to say she’s now 4 and currently sitting on my lap

same!! I dealt with it for over 2 weeks because everyone said you get itchy during pregnancy but it was intense at night. if it wasnt for tik tok I wouldn't have known!

I also found out from tik tok, I’m a nurse and complaining to my coworkers that I was so itchy and they told me I was overthinking it. Diagnosed with cholestasis and induced THAT WEEK at 37 weeks…

Cholestasis is the literal WORSTTT. I was at risk for getting it with my son, so my OB warned me about the itching. First time I experienced it I immediately called my OB and they scheduled an appointment. I ended up needing to go to a high risk doctor for the rest of my pregnancy (I think I found out around week 27 or earlier even). The ITCHINGGG?!! Omg, I was miserableeeee. It was all over my body by the end 😭😭 Constantly took cold showers, baths, or just drenched my legs and arms under cold running water to get some sort of relief in the middle of the night. Got induced at 36 weeks. My son is almost 4 now 💙💙
