actually liked the story because it showed that you shouldn’t judge someone by first impressions. The dad thought the boy was going to be a typical jerk who only wanted one thing from his daughter, so he gave him a hard time and put him through a lot of tests. But the boyfriend proved himself through his actions and showed that he was a genuinely good guy. Sometimes people are so quick to believe the worst about someone, but when that person proves them wrong, they still don’t want to give them credit. Give the guy a chance to prove who he really is instead of judging him by how he first appears.
