To address the first part of the video (because I didn’t watch the second part of the video). The strongest proof against this argument is that most companions had their own personal codexes. They wrote their explanations, private notes, or prayer duas in the end of their notebooks and that was the thing with Ubbay. Now in regard Al Khal’ and Al Hafd they are universally accepted as Qunut which are supplications that the prophet recited during certain prayers. We can also look at Ubay’s own actions where he helped standardize the 114 verses (he literally led the committee and was appointed by Umar as the mumli)

I'm here giving you a virtual hug 🫂. I know it must've been hard for you. Thank you for sharing it with us all. I left both Islam and Christianity. Now I have no religion but kept a Pantheistic view on life. I coexist with my family and friends as per normal but I often perfer my alone time. Choosing a life of solitude instead of marrying an Abrahamic religious man so not to be forced into any expectations. It's not easy for anyone and may your next journey in life brings you peace ❤️

Thank you for sharing this, as someone who grew up muslim and who’s currently now an ex muslim I also had similar questions about the early history of the Quran. It never made sense to me why God chose the Quran to preserve his word, why wouldn’t he preserve his word through the Bible or the Torah? If he was the all powerful as mentioned in the Quran why did he allow us humans to change his words in through his messages in the past (Bible,Torah,etc.)? If there were 2 other different codex’s with different amounts of surahs and the one most Muslims follow today is Uthmans codex couldn’t one make the argument that Uthman choose his version to be more worthy for humanity though maybe the prophet might not have agreed with it since it was after his death, since there were hadiths also mentioning that the sahabas (prophets companions) do make mistakes? Why was Allah able to preserve his word through the Quran and what made the Quran more superior compared to the other books (Torah,Bible) in regards to which is worthy of preservation? There were many questions which didn’t make sense to me, hence why I left Islam

every companion had mushaf for themselves it could be different from other mushafs but it contains the same quran for example aisha used to put words between the quran as exegese that's why uthman made the quran only one original copy with all the companions accepting it and surah hafd and khala is weak hadiths let's say they are sahih these hadith proves that these was verses that got abrogated because Umar used to make dua with them after rukuu which isn't a place to read the quran in and the stoning verse is abrogated like it's literally allah the one who had sent the quran is changing it what's the problem? these changes aren't man made they are from allah and abrogation is 3 types one in recitation one in applying it and one in both so the stoning verse was abrogated in recitation abd not by applying it so we apply it but we don't recite it what's the problem with that? these are basic quran knowledge you could get answers for these questions by 5 min youtyoub video you know that there's evidence that proves islam is the truth but you ignored them for a simple misunderstanding?
