@1357media: This is the best way to film a wedding ceremony completely solo. This method can be done with two cameras or three cameras as well. The whole point is to be crisp and clean and fill this like a real three angle movie keeping everything as common sense as possible. Everybody is wearing a 32 bit recorder and I’m also into the DJs receiver via an XLR splitter for clean sound one small camera up front with a wide lens another camera about 20 feet to the left with a 70 to 200 1/ third camera in the back getting everything as a backup shot. I also ran a drone solo on the same side as the cameras following the 180° rule so everybody will be walking in the frame left to right. I’ve been using the same set up for nearly 25 years as I started weddings in my teenage years I’ve been filming weddings full-time and traveling since 2007. I was one of the first people to actually start offering the short film version. #w#weddingvideotipsw#weddingfilmmakingh#howtofilmaweddings#solofilmmakerw#weddingtips
Once the procession ends the center cam will go off to the side and film the groom’s angles with a 70 to 200. I already a 70 to 200 on my camera for the efficient and the Bride vows. The seat 200 will go in the back and pick up all three the drone. I just let die in the air and it landed back at the whole point and no one even really noticed it was there. When the Bride comes down the aisle, I typically rely on my little camera upfront to pick her up and then I rotate my camera onto the groomers reaction.
