@gameboyzombie: Almost 40 year old Super Naturals action figure Spooks, released in 1987 by Tonka. As a Gen X Millennial growing up in the 80s and 90s it was the golden age of toys and action figures with all big toylines trying to come up with the next big trend for all kids to put on their Christmas present list. So many interesting gimmicks and actions were tried to make toylines stand from the rest. In the mid eighties a big trend was holographic images on action figures became popular where the image could change to reveal the ability of the character or just to create a 3D look. The Super Naturals toyline had body holograms where if rotated change from human into a ghost, monster or animal. This figure was Spooks that turned from a Court Jester into a Silly Spook ghost, the clothes here are actually the wrong colour for this specific figure (I need to hunt the right one down at some point) I only had a couple of these as a child in the 1980s, but the holographic images really bring back great nostalgia of that time playing with them. These old retro action figures and toys from the eighties and nineties can unlock great childhood nostalgic memories for kids that grew up in the 1980s and 1990s and can still be collectible with retro toy collectors today #80sbaby #80skid #80skids #80stoys #childhoodmemories
