I will forever die on the hill relationships shouldn’t be hard. Yes, every relationship/ marriage has seasons that will try you HOWEVER if every day, week, month, year, decade is just stress and problems, why choose that if/ when nothing is changing?

THIS!!!! Once someone does something that causes resentment in the other person, the relationship is OVER. Why fight for a relationship that is causing you stress, depression, and anxiety?! That is not healthy love and it's OK TO CALL IT QUITS!!!!!!

when i was having trouble with my ex partner, my mom asked if i considered couples therapy and told me "four years is a long time to throw away". like, no, babes. you are married 23 years and miserable every other day. i will not be taking advice trom you. but my mom was also kind of in love with my ex so that was another can of worms there, lmao
