Yep. Cops were called every year at Christmas time growing up. Grew up in DV home. No one talks to each other and everyone back stabs one another for the family inheritance. I don’t talk to my Dad because he used my SS# to open credit cards in his name. Had to press charges against him. I’m 44 and I’m by myself with my kids and own immediate family and it’s relatively calm. No raised voices. No physical harm. No chaos. I finally have peace.

D name hear and my family was the most loving Italian connected family ! Amazing childhood growing up. Grandmothers/ great grandmothers/ grandfather/ uncles/ aunts/ cousins. Everyone got along, and respected each other! Unfortunately this dynamic doesn’t last long because life happens and we grow up and loved ones pass on. Remember family members are only here for a short time! Take time for each other!
