[Fire][Perfect score] The only part that was confusing was John Sr. One episode he's in a retirement home. Now without any explanation he's back home?

It was the best ending to a show I’ve seen in a long time. I usually don’t cry for live action shows. Hell. I didn’t cry when Tony stark died. But I sure as hell cried when Hal told John he loved him. Also, I shed a tear with pride when he said his own oath. Incredible oath. I loved it. What an amazing end to a season

No, Lanterns is the best thing DC has done in 10 years, If you can make a show about a comic book character that brings in people who normally don’t care about comics and gets them invested, that’s a success. That’s exactly what Green Lantern needed after the 2011 movie fucked the character’s mainstream reputation so badly that it even contributed to the animated series getting canceled. Lanterns is a good starting point to rebuild the character with general audiences before going bigger with the cosmic stuff.

They saving that suit to be revealed in the Superman movie and push them merchandise sales. Lanterns is a top tier show. Can’t wait for season 2

Honestly I was a little let down with the finale it was to low key. Or maybe it was just me.

Season 2 can only happen, if the budget is doubled. If not, rather leave the Lanterns franchise as a whole

Shit, I'm invested in all these Green Lanterns now. Animated Hal, big budget Stewart and Gardner team-up movie, season 2 as John fights Sinestro as a Yellow Lantern. I also get the hardcore fans complaining. There were changes, we didn't get space cops with crazy constructs, and who knows what's next. But like you said, we're invested now. Now instead of a tiny portion of fans getting a mid budget movie, they've got tons of fans who love these guys and want big things. The only thing you didn't say (in this video) that I will, while the writing was great, that younger actor playing Noah did a really good job in his ring scene, in a series full of great performances. (Minus two or three accent drops and general discussions about other actors playing American roles, which are all fair, but don't remove jobs well done either.) Great review!

I'm not even a lanterns fan and I thought that show was wonderful. They did a great job. And I'm looking forward to season 2 and when it comes to relatable characters. I related to HAL being so jaded in his older age.

It’s like when they had Diggle tour around the Arrowverse just to turn the ring down… except with an actual pay off. We had an itch that needed scratching 🤣

see I was with you on the suit cuz I would have loved to see him rocking the Green lantern suit. but then I remembered that hal didn't teach him shit.🤣 I was surprised that he was able to actually fly. I'm guessing that they're trying to save the suit reveal for a man of tomorrow which I'm really excited for. ✌️😁

what I found interesting was how Hal-ogram was able to come and go seemingly on his own.

While The Penguin made me hate the penguin on a deep level at the end, Lantern's end made me hopeful for Chosen and his future in the DCU. I literally can't wait for Man of Tomorrow just to see him

The challenge is the intimate writing and dialogue will be lost in a movie unfortunately. They gave us a grounded story and character development that will be lost in film unfortunately

All of my emotions came back as I watched this video, thanks for the tears!! I can't WAIT to see more DCU content, Lanterns was so good!! How funny would it be if the Man of Tomorrow movie had theaters packed full with people wearing green?

It was such a good ending. I think a lot of people were looking for finality in the last episode, but it's actually just the start. Well maybe not the start for Hal.

Good news, bad news. Good news: Collider announced that season 2 is already in the works. Bad news: Damon Lindelof isn't returning.
