My brother was doing SOOOOOOOO MUCH after my first nephew was born. I asked if he was tired. He paused. Looked me dead in the eyes and said “My wife just pushed a human out of her vagina. as a teenager I got drunk around my group of guy friends instead of taking advantage of me one carried me to the couch , the other got me a blanket, and the last one got me water a trash can . mind you we were 15 💕 the only good guys I've found

when I was 17 I h7ng out with a group of guys. we'd get wasted (they were 21), and every time I was too drunk one of the guys always got me home safely. id ask him to remove my shoes and he nvr would bcuz thats 'undressing an intoxicated woman'. at one point I went to a party with one of his friends and was SA'd by 2 guys not part of our group. my guy friend beat the sh1t out of them and smiled in his mug shot. we are happily married after having been bffs 13 yrs, now together for additional. 8 with 4 kids.

I called him when I blew a tire, pulled over and yep flat, I had our young kids in the car, he was at work, the business staff where I pulled in saw me while loading their supplies in their truck to leave for their jobs. immediately came over, 2 very nice respectful guys, asked if they could help, I said yes because I had no idea how to get my spare tire out from under my seqouia, they didn't either but we looked it up and they spend like 45 mins on the ground and beside my tire working to get it changed, my husband pulled in a few mins before we got it changed, he had immediately left work and came to make sure we was ok & that the spare was safe & to buy a new tire. the men were so kind, would NOT accept any money for their help & said my wife drives a gold honda minivan, return the favor if you ever see her on the side of the road. good men still exist.

Put a deposit $500 on a $2,500 on a German Shepherd puppy, the breeding didn’t take, found another litter(my dream pedigree) pups were priced at $4,500 asked my husband if there was any way we could swing it. He asked me “is that the one you want” I said yes he replied “get the one you want I’ll make it work.” He’s literally the best guy. We met because I left my pool cues at the bar he was bartending at. He took them home so no one would steal them. When I called the bar the next afternoon freaking out the guy who answered the door told me my now husband had taken them home and he’d be in at 6 and have them with him for me to pick up.

When we first started dating my anxiety was so severe I couldn't handle talking on the phone. We were long distance and I would only communicate through email. Despite ADHD and dyslexia this man would spend hours every night drafting an email with a dictionary by his side. This December will be 20 years.

matched with a guy on a dating app the day of my birthday, told him I'm celebrating my birthday alone cause my mum ruined my birthday plans I had arranged 2 months in advamce and I was sad about that, he travelled from Leeds to Huddersfield and surprised me with a little cake he said he wanted to get me a proper birthday cake but no supermarkets were open whilst he was on his way to mine, we stayed up until 3am talking, laughing and cuddling it was an amazing night 🥰

I tore my ankle ligaments and tendons and he left the party took me to the ER, which took hours, drove all around looking for shorts or sweatpants that I could put on because they cut off my jeans and the next day he brought a homemade cherry pie to make me feel better. Plus I love food. He was 19 at the time and is still chivalrous 37 years later❣️

My parents divorced and once my dad promised to buy me a laptop when I was in high school, my mom asked when he’d be buying it and he told her he never said that, I stopped talking to him for 5 years and I hold every man after that accountable for their words and if they don’t deliver I just cut them off, best daddy issues ever, now I’m with the most amazing man we’re building a life together 🥰🙏

this was when we first started talking and I just woke up in tears for some reason, just incredibly sad while my bf was working at the time. I was in hysterics complaining to my bf and he just listened until I was done and told me to check outside my door. he doordashed my favorite comfort food and flowers🥲🥲🥲 the flowers were a potted plant and not regular flowers, and also half dead but still a memorable moment i think about
