I REALLY needed to hear this. As an Asian girl who grew up with not only curly/wavy hair, I also had course hair and was always jealous of the other Asian girls who had straight, flowy hair while mine stayed the in one direction. It's been a year since I've started my curly hair journey and I'm learning to give myself time, patience and grace.
