@news.drop.media: CBC aired cricket during its first Saturday-night sports broadcast after its NHL agreement with Rogers ended. Rogers now carries the NHL games on Sportsnet, while CBC plans to bring back Hockey Night in Canada with PWHL games in December. Fans can still ask whether CBC made the right programming choice, but the change followed a failed broadcast deal. #HockeyNightInCanada #CBC #NHL #CanadianHockey #CanadaNews
