@spoolin_2.5: Went for a hike and got an unlikely companion for the way down😂 We named em Stanley 😂😂 (We did NOT feed the bear obviously) #828 #bear #blackbear #hike #beautyofnature
You see those two ear tags? Those mean he's been involved with two human encounters previously. There's a three strikes policy with bear encounters in most places. So sad that this baby will be yet another euthanized this year.

We called wildlife to come get em since it was following us down towards our cars and the road!

This bear would have been relocated for his safety… to my house… and lived happily ever after. Unfortunately, DWR most likely euthanized him for being too friendly. He isn’t hurting anyone and in his home being a good host. But yet animals can’t be seen or they are murdered. 😢 poor little guy.

This makes me so sad. 😭💔 Sadly, a desensitized bear is a dead one. 😔

A friendly bear is a dead bear . He’s a young one , where’s mom ? I would do all I could to scare him off. Let him know humans are bad and rotten and untrustworthy . Run bear run .

I've always wondered why instead of euthanizeing the beats they dont place them in zoos and similar facilities I know that there is not enough room for all of them but surly one like this one just a cub still or a very young juvenile can be placed somewhere in the world

The problem is we as a culture have disrupted their natural habitat so as far as I’m concerned they are in their territory and as long as they aren’t aggressive let them be. We are the problem not them

this is the whole issue. humans interact with wildlife. wildlife is no longer scared of humans. humans get hurt.

Most likely around 1 1/2 yr old , mom is ready to mate this past summer and pushes the cubs out on their own , this will be its first winter alone . Very sad it clearly is already accustomed to humans

He’s giving you a tour, guys! 😂 And sending a message to those who hunt bears and pose with their bodies: “We’re tour guides for tourists, not trophies for your pictures, you dumb humans!” 🐻
