Lord Jesus, visit our Families today and heal our relationships, marriages, will, hearts and emotions. Help us to appreciate, accept, respect, accompany, listen and accommodate one another. Amen GOSPEL Lk 10: 38-42 Hospitality: Martha and Mary welcomed Jesus into their home. Hospitality is not just about opening our physical doors but opening our hearts to accept people in their good or bad uniqueness. Showing people that they're precious, important and invaluable is a type of Hospitality. Opening our hearts and listening to Jesus attentively as Mary did, is also a kind of Hospitality. Respect: God created everyone unique. Jesus saw that Martha and Mary had different temperament and He didn't condemn any. Mary was obviously introverted while Martha was extroverted. Contextually Jesus needed someone to listen to Him ( He was on His way to Jerusalem). Sometimes what people just need is a Listening ear and not the food or money. Let us listen more nowadays especially to our family members and those who are in emotional periphery.
